Eagles girls tennis team hands coach Buechler her first coaching win in season opener

PENNSVILLE — Naomi Hess won a three-setter and the two other singles matches won extended sets as Pennsville edged West Deptford 3-2 to give coach Brynn Buechler her first career coaching victory.

Buechler, Pennsville Class of 2012, took the reins from longtime coach Dan Lamont this season.

Hess defeated Harper Short at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 3-6, 10-1. No. 1 singles Graillyn Weber (7-5) and No. 3 singles Jaisley Weber (7-6 (7-5)) posted seven-win sets on their way to victories.
