PENNS GROVE 52, LINDENWOLD 27: The Red Devils pulled away with a 22-point second quarter and then held their visitors scoreless in the third quarter. Penns Grove’s Roman Gipson led all scorers with 18 points, half coming on three 3-pointers.

WOODBURY 53, WOODSTOWN 52: The Wolverines put four scorers in double figures, but couldn’t get off a shot in the final three seconds. had the final possession with three seconds left, but couldn’t get a shot off.

Woodstown’s Elijah Caesar led all scorers with 18 points. Blake Bialecki had 12, giving him 733 on his march to 1,000. Alejandro Vazquez and Josh King had 10 apiece.

INDOOR TRACK
Five individuals and one relay team brought home top 10 finishes at the second SJTCA meet of the season Saturday at the Ott Center in Philadelphia.

Penns Grove’s Arianna Dowe scored two, finishing eighth in the girls long jump (14-1.25) and seventh in the triple jump (30-5.75). Teammate Zoey Caesar was fifth in the shot put (32-1.5), one spot ahead of Salem’s Ava Rodgers (30-2.25).

On the boys side, Salem’s Ahmad Tucker was eighth in the long jump (19-3.5), Gradin Buzby was tenth in the pole vault (10-6) and the 4×400 relay team was tenth (3:45.47).
